Status of Notice to Litigants and Practitioners issued in ACT (ACT 2002/01)

Revocation of superseded Notices

Litigants and Practitioners are advised that a number of Notices currently in force in the ACT Registry have been superseded by changes to legislation or are no longer considered necessary in light of current practices and Rules of Court.

The following Notices issued by the ACT District Registrar are no longer current and according revoked:

1. Freecall number for Duty Registrar enquiries issued 23 October 1997
2. Court Lists on the Internet issued 10 February 1998
3. Filing of Documents issued 21 October 1999

Current Notices to Litigants and Practitioners

Litigants and Practitioners are advised that the following Notices to Litigants and Practitioners are operative:

1. (ACT 2001/1) Listing of Corporations Law matters in the ACT issued on 11 July 2001

2. (ACT 1996/1) Bills of Cost filed under Order 62, Federal Court Rules issued on 14 November 1996

It is intended that future Notices to Practitioners will be numbered within each year to facilitate access to current Notices.
