Status of notices to litigants and practitioners issued
in NSW (2001/4)
Revocation of superseded Notices to Practitioners
Litigants and Practitioners are advised that a number of Notices to Practitioners currently in force in the NSW Registry have been superseded by changes to legislation or are no longer considered necessary in light of current practices and Rules of Court.
The following Notices to Practitioners issued by the NSW District Registrar are no longer current and accordingly revoked:
1. Substituted Service issued 20 August 1984
2. Backsheets issued 23 September 1988
3. Documents filed in bankruptcy issued September 1988
4. Judge's copy documents issued 15 September 1988 (reissued as NSW 2001/2)
5. Corporations Law issued 21 May 1991
6. Appointment for access to exhibits issued 22 July 1993
7. Referral of Debtors Petitions issued 1 November 1995
8. Bankruptcy Notices: District Court of NSW issued 8 July 1996
9. Unserved Creditor's Petitions issued 9 July 1996 (reissued as NSW
2001/3)
10. Olympic period issued 16 February 2000
