Corporate Information
Corporate Services
Corporate services include communications, finance, human resources, information technology, library, procurement and contract management, property, risk oversight and management and statistics.
On 1 July 2016, the corporate services functions of the Federal Court, the then Family Court and the then Federal Circuit Court (now Federal Circuit and Family Court), merged into a single administrative entity. This follows the passage of the Courts Administration Legislation Amendment Act 2016 earlier in 2016. Each court has a separate budget allocation and maintains their distinct statutory identities.
In July 2012, the Court assumed responsibility for administering the National Native Title Tribunal.
