General Federal Law
Inquiries on General Federal Law matters should be directed to the Registry in the state in which the case will be (or has been) lodged.
The Federal Court cannot assist with family law matters. Please email the Family Law National Enquiry Centre at email@example.com for assistance.
Information regarding the progress of a federal law matter can be obtained by searching Federal Law Search, or directed to the Registry which is hearing the matter.
You are also able to track a case through the Commonwealth Courts Portal.
Check Daily Court Listings to see a list of hearings scheduled for today or the next business day.
Administrative inquiries include website feedback, human resources, financial management, information technology support, property and procurement, risk management and statistics.
Federal Court inquiries from journalists are to be directed to the Director Public Information.
The registries of the Federal Court are also registries for the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in relation to general federal law matters.
