Special Measures Information Notes are currently under review with matters currently being heard face to face unless the Court directs otherwise.
27 January 2022: QR code systems in Court buildings
Australian State and Territory governments have mandated the use of QR codes as a means to creating a record of the time and date individuals have visited a location.
Diligent use of QR codes greatly improves the speed at which an infected person’s close and casual contacts can be identified by authorities. It also allows the publication of contact locations for the community, accelerating isolation and testing. This helps to contain a COVID-19 outbreak.
QR code check in is currently required in all court buildings.
